Yoga Optimized: The Neurobiology of Stretching Lecture, Somatic Experience, and Flow

This lecture and practice will be one of the most important topics for any yogi.
If you practice yoga without understanding the neurobiology of flexibility, you will forever drive a car without GPS or steering wheels. Based on the Soulful Science Section of Eoin’s new Book Yoga Optimized, this 60-minute class will clarify that there is much more to flexibility than increasing the length of our muscles and fascia. You will learn that you are way more flexible than you think if you just have science on your side.

True to the Blissology tagline, “Yoga is a Feeling, Not Just a Shape,” you will not be subjected to a dry university lecture about anatomy and physiology; instead, expect an embodied experience that changes how you feel in every pose.

Learn to speak the body’s language: sensation. This class is not about biohacking your way to flexibility by outsmarting your body; it is about “bio-harmonizing,” where we learn to work with our bodies’ innate intelligence. All learning is based on the 3 Blissology Pillars: Reverence, Awe, and Wisdom.

June Summer Solstice Breathwork Journey

Breathwork is the practice of consciously working with the breath in a way that brings into unordinary states of consciousness, as well as deep states of relaxation. Conscious-connected breathwork is also used therapeutically to unwind tensions held in the physical, mental, and emotional body, and also helps to access deeper dimensions of the body, psyche, and spirit, and supports healing, deep insight, and self-discovery.

During the Breathwork Journey, you will be supported by Jodi, Sharon, and Michelle in many ways, including through gentle physical touch, energy work, tuning forks, and other energy clearing techniques. You will be taught this very accessible breathing technique, Conscious-connected breath at the beginning of the workshop, and it is very simple to learn.

This workshop is intentionally limited to 22 participants.
