Breathing Life

with Jane Howell

In the Moon Room

6pm - 830pm

$50

Join Jane for an immersive exploration of the breath as a gateway into greater awareness, embodiment, and intentional living. Through philosophy, contemplation, simple embodied movement, traditional yogic practices, bandhas (energetic locks), and an experiential breath journey, investigate one powerful idea: how you breathe is how you live.

Spend time exploring the body's natural polarities—receiving and giving, participation and surrender, containment and expression—and discover how philosophy becomes something we can experience directly.

Come curious. Leave with a deeper relationship to your body, your breath, and a simple practice you can return to every day.

The body becomes the first place we practice living the life we desire.

Boulter Method Breathwork Circle

With Reanna Costa

6pm - 8.30pm

In the Moon Room

$65

A somatic approach to breath, embodiment, and release

Most of us move through life with some form of armour—the protective patterns we developed to help us adapt, belong, and survive. These patterns do not live only in our thoughts or beliefs. They can be felt in the breath, held in the body, and expressed through the nervous system: in the ways we brace, constrict, disconnect, push through, or hold ourselves back.

The Boulter Method Breathwork is a body-led practice that uses breath, awareness, and presence to explore these patterns from within.

Rather than pushing for a breakthrough or trying to create an intense emotional experience, this work begins with containment. You will be invited to follow the natural intelligence of your body, remain connected to your own experience, and listen for what is ready to move—and what may still need protection, time, or support.

The intention is not to override resistance, but to become curious about it.

As the breath deepens and awareness moves into the body, you may begin to notice where you are holding, controlling, bracing, or pulling away. With support, these patterns can begin to soften—not because they have been forced to change, but because they are finally being met with enough presence to no longer work so hard.

This practice is not about breathing harder, performing the “right” experience, or making something happen. It is an opportunity to slow down, listen beneath the noise of the mind, and allow the body to lead.

Each breath circle is:

  • Somatic: Grounded in the direct experience of the body.
  • Contained and supported: Guided with clarity, presence, and care.
  • Body-led: Allowing your experience to unfold at a pace your system can meet•
  • Honest: Creating space for what is true, without needing to explain, fix, or transcend it.
  • Integrative: Supporting not only release, but the capacity to remain present with what arises

You do not need to arrive knowing what you want to work on. You do not need previous breathwork experience, and there is no particular outcome you are expected to have.

You will be guided throughout the practice and encouraged to remain in relationship with your body, your breath, and your own boundaries.

Come as you are. Bring your breath, your body, and a willingness to listen.

It is recommended to bring a journal and pen for journalling afterwards, but not required.

A Fall Equinox Maya Yoga Master Class

with Nicki Doane

Monday September 21st

530pm - 830pm

$85

Honouring the Balance Within and Without

The Fall Equinox marks a rare moment of equilibrium and balance. It is one of two days of the year when day and night meet in almost equal measure — light and darkness coming into balance before we begin the slow, gradual movement away from summer and towards winter.

In yoga, balance does not mean that everything is perfectly static or that opposing forces disappear. True balance is our ability to remain centred while things are changing. As Nicki often says, change is the only constant. We must learn how to navigate change if we are to find balance in our own lives, and yoga practice is a way — a tool — to help us do just that.

The Equinox offers an opportunity to explore this in body, mind and spirit through the practice of yoga. This 3-hour Maya Yoga Master Class will work with the equal and opposite forces that are always present in practice: Sthira and Sukha — strength and sweetness, effort and surrender, expansion and contraction, being and doing, holding on and letting go.

Led by Nicki Doane, this will be a well-rounded and deeply intentional practice exploring these relevant themes in both yoga and life.

Open to students of all levels. The only requirement is an open mind and an open heart.
